Characters and personalities who, despite their differences in background, profile and temperament, are united by a shared passion for the creation of rare and outstanding objects and products. Ceramic and glass artists, textile designers, hand weavers and goldsmiths, as well as winegrowers, distillers, chocolatiers, etc. They showcase their expertise in fashion, craftsmanship and design.

The ambiance

Set amidst Bolzano’s greenery, surrounded by vineyards and just a few minutes’ walk from Bolzano’s old town, Maretsch Castle is the ideal venue for the event. Bolzano Castle combines the ambience of a typical Renaissance residence with the requirements of a modern event venue.
First mentioned in the 13th century, the castle belonged to the Maretsch family until the mid-15th century, when it passed to the Römer family. The castle was then extended to become a Renaissance residence, and in the 16th century became a point of reference for nobles of the Protestant faith. After several changes of ownership, in 1974 it was purchased by the Bolzano tourist administration and converted into a congress center.
